I miss my grandparents and I found these pictures on my dads photo website. I love looking at them and seeing my grandma and grandpa so young loving their life.

The picture above is of my grandpa at the family Ranch in Kyle Tx. (just outside of San Marcos). He is sitting on the cow tank that would give the cows on the ranch their water supply. I like this because there were so many times where I myself would play and jump off of that very tank. I even have pictures of it from this summer.

This picture is my grandma at school for hobo day.

I think this one above and below are my favorite because they are from floating the river in San Marcos. I have done the very same thing many a times with not only my grandparents and family but with my friends and fiance too. These pictures remind me of happy times. And lets not forget the awesome swimsuit worn by my grandpa... with a belt.

This picture is still almost 20 years old but it was taken at their 50th anniversary party and it is closer to how I remember them. I only hope to live such a happy life with my husband.

Abandoned Beauty

I know nothing of this stunning structure other than its abandoned and in Russia. There is something about an abandoned place that is creepy yet timeless and peaceful. I have a large fascination with things left like this. I guess its more curiosity than any thing.

Why did people leave?

How could you let this go to waste?

What happened to the people who lived here?

There is a strange beauty in things left in solitude.

Many places in Russia are abandoned including whole cities. This is not a rare site to see but the beauty of this architecture is breath taking.

I have seen these pictures many times and each time I look through them I am still amazed.

Scarves are the perfect accent to make any one a hipster. Next stop girl pants.

This puppy hangs out at the local pizza parlor and smokes fancy imported cigarettes or parliments

This hipster pup is a music snob and will probably make fun of your iPod playlists.

He likes drinking cheap booze including pabts blue ribbon

this connoisseur of cool loves to drink bottom shelf booze, specifically from brands which were formerly associated with blue collar types. He loves listening to his scissor sister album and can usually be caught wearing a fedora.

Drinking cheap booze isn't always enough. This one loves his wine and spends his weekends improving his pallet

The hippest of all hipster puppies wears an over size pair of glasses. You aren't cool if a large piece of plastic isn't covering most of your face.

Lady Bird may be my best four legged friend but I love to take pictures of all animals too. Animals are my favorite subject because they move in such a natural way and you have to time it just right to get the shot. There is no directing just following. Here are a few of my favorite animals.
